What is the compression spec for a 79'KZ650?
Bought a used 650 and it came out at 135+ on all cylinders.

Not too bad. Was it fully warmed up, throttle held open, fully charged battery, all plugs out?

Thanks, I feel a little better about my bike now. The compression was done at the shop so I doubt it was done hot. What was the compression when new?

I could be wrong but I think it was in the 150 or so range? I've owned my bike since new, it runs fantastic but have never checked compression. I should pull my head out of the sand and do it someday!
