kz650 upgrade engine to kz750?

so I'm trying to find some info... the kz750E is the same engine as the kz650? meaning its a direct swap? any pros or cons to doing the swap? also are the carbs different? same size? smog crap? any info is appreciated.

The wiring could be different I'm not sure but the carbs are different size. You could just put the 750 cylinders on you 650 bottom end to save you the trouble of pulling the bottom end. You could use 750 cylinders , pistons, and carbs, and use 650 everything else. You could also swap the engine and carbs and use 650 exhaust and coils and crap. IF the engine does have the emissions crap on the valves cover just run a hose from one side to the other and it'll be fine or put your 650 valve cover on it.

750 CYLINDERS WILL NOT FIT IN A 650 BOTTOM END UNLESS YOU MACHINE IT! USE YOUR 650 STATOR AND PIONTS AND A SET OF 28MM CARBS AND IT WILL RUN

a non-emmission valve cover will not fit a emission head, or that is to say if physically goes on but the exhaust ports leading to the valve cover are left open. and i believe the cylinder block of a 750 will not fit into a 650 block without machining. if you had both engines, i would just install the 750 engine.

main question is will the 750 engine bolt right into a 650 frame? the swap is my objective. and is gearing the same?

so is it the same bottom end as the 650 but larger bore? IE same gearing etc. 5 speed too? and does anyone have a 750E engine they want to let go of? lol
