Hey guys: I was wondering if I could use an engine from a 74 KZ400 and bolt it right in on an 82 KZ440 frame?
I can get an entire parts bike for $150 with the engine, frame, and some other parts (tank and fairings and a few other parts are off).
I don't really care about losing the 6th gear in the transmission and I don't really care about losing the electric start either.
Any thoughts? Should I just get the bike anyway?
