Will the Kerker exhaust system for a 1983 750 Spectre also fit the 1980-1982 KZ 750 LTD? Is the main difference the shaft drive? If someone could let me know. Thanks.

Welcome to KZr brox.
The header pipes will most certainly fit up fine between those models. The only thing you might need to do is fab up a diff mounting bracket where the muffler attaches to the rear footpeg bracket.

brox! Ha!! So you were the winner...I bid on that one too! Follow R4's advice...the only problem might be the muffler bracket...

If the Kerker doesn't work out for some reason, I'll let you know. My '81 750 LTD is in dire need of some new pipes. They are pretty rusty. I thought the Kerker or Vance & Hines might be a nice addition.

I don't want to rub it in, but the Kerker works awesome! It sounds really cool, sort of like a sport bike, but not too loud. The only mod I needed to do was drill another hole in the bracket on the exhaust. I was able to use the existing bracket that hangs from the footpeg.
