if you guys have bought one in the last couple of years, then you know how quiet they are now. Tell you what, pull the baffle out and grind the two small welds holding the secondary baffle in and throw it away. your bike will definately run better. I did it today and the exhaust really did not make much more noise at all, but the idle quality went through the roof! Mid-range? Top-end? Fuggetaboutit! Do it now!!

I run a Supertrapp with the baffle and packing inside, but I don't run the discs or endcap. It all works good for me:


This clip is before I did final adjustment on the valves, and a little fine tuning. The discs choke off the flow, but I'd never run that muffler without the "guts" in it, and have it like a megaphone. No way!
