quick question was created by jordan
I am working on putting my motor back together and I noticed a small piece laying on the floor. I am not sure what it is, but I'me assuming it has something to do with the cam chain. There are two slots where it could go, but I am not sure which one, or if I am missing one. I'me sure many of you know this answer, and help would be appreciated. I have pictures posted below to help describe what I am talking about.

Here's my guess. BTW, I hope you know where the two blocks (#22) are?!

:( , ummmm? would these two block pieces be still attached to the block by any chance? I am having the cylinders bored for the 810 kit at the moment, so I cant look at them.

not to mention # 15. the pin holds the tensioner plate in the slot, along with the two plastic blocks, then the head holds it in place.

the blocks may be stuck there, because manuals sometimes reccomend that the blocks be held with superglue

Okay, I believe I may have found these blocks that you are talking about. Are they rubber? If so, yes I have them.

You dont say what model the bike is but the mystery piece looks like the rear cam chain guide damper on my J. It just sits in a slot on the crankcase behind the rear tensioner blade and seem to be held in place by the barrells
