Here.

I'll put it in my signature as well. If you need more, I have the factory manuals, and can look the info up if you need it.

Just beware, that is not the Kaw factory manual and there are errors and ambiguities in there. I haven't compared the section on bearings with the kaw manual yet.

"I'm your Huckleberry."

I have both the factory big white book and the supplement manuals for the KZ/GPz 550 years.

What model engine are you working on? KZ or GPz?

We just have the crank, and it is supposed to be a KZ550.

Can I borrow both of those manuals? I will return them the next day.

Thanks
Jay

Here's the scanned pages of the crank bearings and rod bearings:

I'd have to mail them to you if you need them. Let me know. I'm in San Francisco, and could get them out to you by the end of today if you need them.

Is this where the line starts to get one of those?? lol Do you have the whole thing online?? Or would you have the clutch section scanned? 82 kz550a3? I just put a harness on it, got the lights to work, but no starter yet? Think it might be the starter lockout, working on getting the clutch back together, etc. Tried it with the lockout connected, disconnected, switched, no luck. Im also missing the start button, so i got a auto parts store push button switch, hooked that up, nothing. Does anyone know if it should turn over with the lockout disconnected?

I don't have it scanned anywhere. Maybe I shoukd someday. Does that manual in my signature help? If not, E-Mail and I'll see what I can help you with.

The battery really needs to be charged good to get the starter to turn over, or you'll just hear the clicking sounds.

As for those manuals. they are not for sale from Kawasaki, and haven't since 2003. Keep an eye out on ebay, and they come up from time to time. OK maybe not that often.
