So i finally bought a new tach cable, but i hooked it up and it made no difference...:pinch: My first thought was that the tachometer is broken.. nope! spun the cable with my drill and it moved.
Upon further inspection of the drive unit in the head of the engine, the worm gear does not spin! in fact, it does not even catch well on the exhaust cam when i thumb it! So i am thinking, either the worm gear is to small, the cam is stripped, wrong cam, or (i don't even know if this is possible) the cam has spacers on it.
I pulled out the worm gear, and it looks fine.. so I'm not sure!
So if anyone has any clues as to why this would be, that would be awesome! i really hope that it is not serious.
