Does anyone know a source for a kit for the KZs ??
OLDKAWAMAN has a good description of how to fab it up yourself, but I wanted to check out sources before I do all that work. ANY help would - well - help

Some people on here use the coolers available through JC Whitney, other use coolers made for the older oil-cooled GSXR or any 600/750 Katana. You need to figure out how big a cooler you need and start searching eBay. Even some ATV's have decent sized coolers that would work.

Don't know what KZ you have but have heard here that I believe GPZ550/750 (?) oil pans with coolers are a bolt on job!! Have to fab the cooler to frame but pan bolts right on!!

I bought a oil cooler from JC Whitney, works great but now I can't use a steering damper which I really need.

I did just that! I got a oil pan an cooler from GPZ and it was a straight bolt on. The only thing I had to do was fabricate a mounting bracket since I got it without one.

I got it by doing a parts inquiry through www.uneedapart.com/used-kawasaki-motorcycle-parts.php I got more then one response and once I got the price I wanted I bought it :P

I believe OLDKAWMAN will sell you a kit that comes with everything you need or it's ready to go, can't remember which but I remember reading that while I was on his site awhile back.

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

MAN!! Look at all the RTV silicon sealer on that motor!:S I would imagine that there is equal amounts of sealer on the inside of the engine gaskets also.
WOW!
