looking for a machine shop...
10 Jan 2006 17:58
This isn't exactly kawasaki-related, but it is engine related.
I need to make an aluminum adapter-piece or have one made; either way, I need access to a machine shop. Below, there should be a print of the piece I need. I will be in the Cookville TN area for most of the summer. Anybody from that area on here?

My buddy John can make it.
Send print to machone@alltel.net for a quote.
Tolerance costs so the looser you can be, the less it will cost.
Tell him 'hippie Bob' with the bikes sent you.
Sop is in Canton GA, about 75 miles So of TN line.

I am pulling another stunt modifying something that shouldn't be.
I am trying to adapt fuel injection (from a '91 Civic) to my 1978 Honda Accord.
This part, to be made of aluminum, is to adapt the crank sensor to the cam sprocket.
Unless otherwise noted, tolerances are +/-.010

Here is a place where you can design, price and order your own parts online
www.emachineshop.com/
I am in Clarksville, TN which is a few hours from Cookeville. Give me a shout if you wanna hook up for a beer. I know we have a few members in KY which is not far from Cookeville either.

thanks, I may call about the beer, when I get to TN.
Mmmmm... Beer
I have been to emachine; the estimate was $187 and nearly a month to complete. For that, I could have just found a whole motor to put in.
