I'm taking apart bottom half out of a 1979 KZ1000st. It so far has a MK11 crank and looks like what amounts to a MK11 trans. It also has a six spring clutch hub on it. A KZ only has 5 springs so what gives? Is this the nrmal clutch for a shaftie or do I have a crossbreed here? I thought the 6 spring cluch hub design started with the J-models in '81. Anyone care to clue me in on what I have here? Appreciate it.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

ST uses 6 bolts on the clutch. Just another heavy duty part of the ST to go along with the rest of it. One great model, all the best parts.
