Looking for reed valve caps
01 Sep 2007 19:21
Does anyone here have a set of KZ1000 J engine reed valve caps that they'd be willing to part with?
I went to check the valve clearances on my "new" CSR and found that both caps are cracked.
PM me with the price if you have some to sell. Thx.

APE might sell replacement covers without the emission holes, for your year.

Yeah, they do, and they look nice. But I was hoping to get something a little more, uh, cheap.
The APE's are $51.

Anyone know if the reed valve caps from a KZ750 Spectre would fit on a KZ1000 J engine?
I'm looking at this set on EBay.

Check the part numbers from
www.buykawasaki.com
with those and the ones that fit your need. If there's the same, then they'll fit. B)

Yeah, I already did that, and they aren't the same. But that doesn't necessarily mean they won't fit. I doubt they will fit, but I was hoping maybe someone else could tell me for sure.
