There are Vetter Windjammer farings on Ebay pretty commonly. I like mine, but a lot of guys don't. One thing I will tell you is it causes a lot of heat off the engine to blow on you at low speeds or when stopped and idling. Nice in winter, but summer time it sucks.

This is a Windjammer V. All the Vetter and Windjammer fairings are pretty much universal fit to any bike and are plentiful on ebay and usually pretty cheap. The difficult thing about them is the mounting brackets are what are unique to each individual model and these are difficult to locate unless you've got an old Japanese bike that begins with an H......

I haven't checked lately, but I seem to remember mounting brackets for KZ1000/1100s were pretty common. Even if you can't find one, it would be an easy thing to fabricate it looks like. I like those Windjammer farings, I think you'd do well with one.

We have a full fairing in the attic. It was on my 76 KZ900 for a while. For some reason hubby took it off and I now have just a plexistar 2 windshield. If you'd like a look I'll have a pix posted.
