I just bought a 750 ltd
when i start her, she idles around 750-1000 rpm, but after running her for a bit, she will Idle at around
2500-300 rpm
any1 have any idea what might be causing this.

Sure... this is a carb related question and this thread belongs in the carb section but as the carb body warms, the idle gets higher. Set the idle when the bike and especially the carb bodies are warm. When you start the bike, use the choke until the bike warms sufficiently so that it can idle with the choke off. Don't try adjusting the idle cold.
