Anything else while I'm down there?

So basically, i tried to thread a new cam chain through and one of the ends fell in... So, now the engine is sitting in my living room on a table (lack of workspace) and I was wondering if there was anything i should get around checking while i have the top end off. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Oh, the bike has 50k on it, and yes i have already checked the cam chain rollers and purchased new shims.

I heard this little dealybobber is a good thing to replace. I'm the wrong person to ask though.

I would look at the oil pump, make sure it is clean and in good condition, other than that, clean it well and put it back on the road
