broken clutch cable

1976 kz900a with 4 into 1 Basani pipes, k/n air filter and rebuilt carbs

Was taking the bike for a test run after adjusting carb floats and the clutch cable broke! Not bad for being the original one. Ordered a new one from Z1 enterprises and it won't fit (to short)? MAYBE the pullback handle bars that originally came with the scooter might have something to do with it?! Anyways i went to the kawaski site and they only list one and it looks like about the same size i have ? Anyone have any ideas where i might be able to pic up a modified cable?

Um, Z1 Enterprises? Send them an email telling them what you have, and they may be able to find something that will work.

MEASURE your old one FIRST;) If Jeff's crew can't help you, then they are on eBay all the time for pullback type handlebars ( non original ) .

If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?
