I used to have some bitchen gold colored aluminum ones that said Kawasaki on them. I lost 2 of them in the rebuild and move. I can't find them for sale anywhere. Those were the best ever!!

1975 Z1 900, 1075 wiesco kit, web cams, smooth bores, dyna ignition, denco pipe, lester mags, wicked bad rotors, custom gauge face plates .. not much stock left.

APE Jay..I purchased a set from Jim at Redline in Chicago, a KZ shop. Put them in with a little bit of 3 bond 1104. They leaked badly. I then asked Jim whats up, and he said it was not unusual for him to have to mildy deck them a little to get a seal across the top, and that anything over a few thousandths sticking up might cause the valve cover gasket to not seal properly. Sure enough, they were up a little, I sanded them doen to flush, and no leaking.
Not sure what to make of it since you said not needed...but, at least it worked!
