clutch not fully releasing

changed stock bars to superbike bars and now having hard time getting clutch to release fully. adjusted everything i could. think ill put a shorter cable on it. anky ideas?
1977 kz1000.

One of your cable connectors may of popped
out of its socket.Check the one halfway down
next to the front frame down tube.Check for
kinks or binding areas.Unless adjusted wrong,
or above problems it should work as before the
bar change.

now able to fully release however it grabs almost all the way out. checked entire cable. no kinks.
1977 kz1000.
