Number 2 bike back on the road...

As I posted here before, the clutch pushrod broke putting my bike inop until I could get another one. I scored one, along with the complete clutch assy for 20 some bucks. I thought about taking the pushrod out of number 1 bike, which is down for dead compression in one cylinder due to a warped valve, but pulling the shaft drive off is a PITA, so I just held out for another pushrod. Put it all back together along with a new set of clutch springs from Z1. Boy, does that clutch grab now. This bike only has 21000 miles on it and the engine is the strongest of the three 1100s I have. Now, for a cold beer.......chris3

Number 1 bike is a '82 1100 Spectre, number 2 bike is a 82 1100 Spectre, and number three bike is a 82 K1100A2. I don't know how to post pictures here. I bought the 1 bike in 94, not running, and put it back on the road. the 2 bike I bought last year for parts, not running, and when I got it home discovered it to be in better shape than the 1 bike. I bought 3 bike last April, not running. It was so nice I couldn't pass it up for 500 bucks. It has full Vetter fairings and bags. It needed one exhaust valve and coil wires.....chris3
