argh! found first weak link

replaced exhaust and rebuilt/rejetted carbs and added pingel petcock. all great till head gasket gave out and my cam plug on rear cam left side and valve cover gasket! damn! any suggestions on where to get a good head gasket oem is $85 would like to find a cheaper replacment as i plan to go to the 810 kit soon. also would like to know where to get the aluminum cam plugs. thanks in advice for any suggestions.

Not sure if anyone makes them for the 650's. The ones I have are for a 900/1000 that I filed down to fit.

The Cometic graphite gasket is supposed to be good for the GPz750. APE do the metal half moons but the rubber ones are just as good (if not better).

thamks for the advice. ive only had the bike for a little over a month. i got a good deal on it i think just trying to get everything right before i make it better. this week i will fix the gaskets and probably check and clean my valves while im at it. i also plan on putting in a new clutch because my slips in the high rpm range. will try to post pics in a little while.

I bought i full athena gasket set from the motovan catalogue for $116 canadian. This includes everything you need except cam plugs. It even comes with new exhaust gaskets and valve seals.

looks like i am going with cometic for the head gasket and z1 for cam seals and plugs for about $60 not bad for the needed gaskets. appreciate the help guys.
