Now, Cometic has a two piece copper gasket for that size bore(which is 72mm). Has anyone used a copper gasket with a 1075 kit in their KZ? Does it work good, leak oil?
Also, how reusable are they?

copper gaskets normally leak like a sieve unless the top of sleeves is o ringed;)
Yep. Had the exact same experience with my 1260.

The 1 piece head gasket first used on Z1 was changed to a 2 piece version on late 73's and became standard on 74 models with taller cylinder head nuts.
I believe the rubber o-ring between the two halves sealing off the cam chain tunnel was also introduced with the 2 piece head gasket.

can, fibre if you can't.If you run the copper
it will just be a matter of time untill it
leaks.Have your head checked for flatness,
have it skimmed in a mill if it shows ANY
warpage or dips across it.

Cometic only shows 71 and 74mm 2 piece copper in the 07 catalog. Maybe they have 72 on their website.
We generally recommend copper only when cylinder pressure is too high for the fiber gaskets.

they do leak if you don't use gasket cinch be sure to let the glue dry before installation
good O rings are necessary as well
I love copper and use them a lot over and over
even if they do leak a bit
