I was wondering if there was anything I could do to quiet it down without changing the entire exaughst system and at the lowest price.
Is it possible I could add baffles or somethign to it?
Thanks alot.

I'd say, if you want to do cheaply and you have any handy skills, make your own insert. That can be as simple as a perforated blockoff or as refined as a tuned length packed as tight or light as you like.

As mentioned earlier, the 'Trapp option offers a disc set up where you can add or subtrack to your suit yourself.
Good luck,

Nice looking bike you've got there!
Almost any cannister (Kerker, Super Trapp, Mac, Yosh, etc.) can be made to fit on there to replace what the PO of your bike put on, so don't limit you searches to something that only fits a KZ650 or a Kawi.
What are your plans for the rest of the bike...Resto to original?....Cafe' racer replica?...Chopper?...Just get it running and looking nice?...???
I'm guessing that it runs fine since you state the exhaust is extremely loud?
Before putting any money into getting a quiter/nicer looking muffler, you might want to check into what appears to be a leaky head gasket. :S
While a new head gasket itself isn't a major cost to replace if you DIY, you'll find that there's going to be other things that will "mysteriously" need replacing: "Since I've got it torn down to this point, I might as well freshen up the rest of the engine by installing a Big Bore kit, performance cams, porting, bigger carbs, etc, etc."
There are a lot of members here who have gone through this exact scenario.
Not that this is a bad thing mind you. Just letting you know that upgrades are contagious, and often times pricey.

It has 6200 miles and I got it for $325. So far I cleaned the carbs, new spark plugs, replaced the coils and points, drained the old gas and put new gas in.
I got it running pretty nicely now just a few more things left.
Now I want to replace the back brake, oil and air filters, oil, and muffler, oh yeah and brake lever (My dad dropped it :S)
I think I am going to search around locally for a used one, My dad saw a muffler off a Yamaha for $5 at the flea market a few weeks ago. If I knew what I did now I would of got it. Any I hope to find a good deal on one that I can make fit.
RetroRiceRocketRider I was just wondering why do you think the head gasket is leaking?
