If you are getting premature clutch shaft wear your clutch pusher may be worn out.In 81 on I believe it
is a needle bearing pusher.
is a needle bearing pusher.

i've got an 80 kz750 with the same problem, i replaced the rod, but i'm afraid that its going to rub the notches again...i couldn't figure out what was rubbing, felt like something inside the transmission. it doesn't seem to be in the pushing module, the rod gets worn just behind the seal. any ideas anyone?
