best looking exhaust
13 Jul 2007 13:37
The best sounding exhaust thread topic got me to thinking, what is the best looking exhaust in your mind?
I really liked the black v&h 4-1 on my 1st bike, but I think I like the kerker sound better. I'd like the kerker look if I could have it angle up more in the back. Ultimately however, I think I'm going to try to get a newer bike exhaust slip on can and try to get that to work out. I like the way the stock exhaust for my 650 looks only from the back, but since I am trying to change the look of my 650 the stock exhaust doesn't fit in with the image in my head. I guess it depends on what looks good in comparison with how the rest of the bike looks, you know...
Any thoughts?

Totally agree, 4 in to 4. Want one BAD, just can't afford one right now!

I'm not sure if it falls into the best looking category or not but if you plan on keeping the bike for a while stainless steel is hard to beat. I recently put a system off a 2002 ZR7-S on my 77 650 C-1. The look takes some getting used to but what I like about it is it is really quiet. If you want to make more noise you can always add an aftermarket can to it. Installation wasn't a problem at all but I did need to buy the shorter inserts that are used on the 2002 model. Heres a pic.
