No manual

I bought a 1981 750-4 that has no owners manual. Can anyone tell me how to check the oil level? There's no sight glass and the fill cap isn't the dipstick type. Also, how much oil for an oil change and how much air pressure to put in the front forks. I'll trade my first-born male son for a manual.

Hello 2007geo! First of all, what kind of 750(4) do you have? Is it the standard (E model) or LTD (H model)? Oil volume is 3.5l (change filter also) and you can improvise a dipstick immediately after the oil change to check the level. Air pressure in the forks is 8-13 psi for the E model and 7-14 psi for the H model, making sure to balance the values in the forks.
