valve guides

I'm in the process of having the head xtrude-honed & port matched. Before I put it back together, I'd like to replace the stock valve guides with titanium guides. I put Manley stainless steel valves in it about 20k miles back. Still using the stock springs too. Any problems with my approach? Any suggestions? Sources for parts?

They used to. They were not as good as the stainless valves available today.

There are no titanium valve guides. Titanium would not make a very good valve guide.

Bronze is what you want.
