I'm reasembling the engine on my 78 kz 650 that I tore apart. Can anyone tell me which direction my new head gasket should go on? Which way faces up? (see pictures)

I haven't had the head off my 650 yet, but any head gasket I have ever seen had "top" marked on one side or the other. But, then of course these bikes are probably totally different.
78 650-C2, Stock engine, Jardine 4-2 Exh., 17-38 sprockets, dyna ignition and coils, coil wiring mod, carb mod.
