hey guys.. i ended up splitting the motor to put a real cam chain in since i dropped some crap down into the crank case when i pulled off the barrels (there was like dirt and rust collected near the bottom of the studs!

anyhow.. i was making an inventory of the parts, and i dont have a microfiche here.. how many dowels are there? i counted 2 thru-type behind the outermost main bearing caps, and it looks like one in the rear center and one in the front center but all i can find is one solid dowel pin in my pile. im not sure where the other went, if it even existed at all but we all know once that stuff lands on the floor..... :P

hey guys.. now im confused...

there are for sure two dowels behind the outer crank mains..

on the micro fiche at kawi.com i dont see any other dowels except for the ball bearing dowels on the transmission shafts..

So i've got this solid dowel pin that fits perfectly into either the front or back (middle) dowel holes...

any ideas?
