Can dents be removed out of exhaust headers? If so, who would you take it to? A body shop or something??

Thanks

Yep. A welding shop. Where they pull the dent it will not be cosmetically 'matching' anymore, so if you are looking for asthetics you'll need to re-coat the header in whatever fashion you are looking for.

It depends on how bad the dents are. It's hard to get it perfect. What I did was drill a hole on the other side from the dent then work it out through the hole. after I welded up the holes.

When I bought my Z1000J the middle two headers had been squashed nearly flat due to a crash. I cut them near the worst section and banged a piece of old fork stanchion down the inside til they were round again then welded them up.

If it is just a small dent then heat the area with propane torch and use a ice cube to cool it down fast. cool it till you can touch it then repeat. I have done this with gas tanks and it works prety good.
