Number #1 stay cold

Hi,
First. I bouth a bike that hasn't been on the road for 6 or 7 years. It was started annualy but thats it. I'm actualy giving it a good tune up and put it back on the road.
Wires and plug have been change already and carbs clean up.
When I start the bike, #1 stay cooler for a few minute if I compare to other cylinder when I touch the pipe.
After maybe 2 minute, they seem to be all equal (untouchable....)
Also, this is probably because I'm use to new bikes but I don't feel that I've got a lot of power of 5,000rpm. Maybe this is relate to the #1????
I haven't done anything on the point system yet.
Those anyone have a clue on this?
This is on a 1984 z1100R.

My first advice would be to quit touching exhaust pipes. Even one on a non-firing cylinder will burn your skin off if the bike is warmed up. Get a spray bottle with water and squirt the pipe. If the water vaporizes, the cylinder is firing. If the water rolls off, it isn't.
OK, once you figure which cylinder is not firing, try to isolate the problem by swapping plug wires. Say #1 plug isn't firing based on your water squirt test; SWAP the #1 plug wire with #4 and see if the problem MOVES to the #4 cylinder. Knowing this will help you deterine if the problem is more likely carburetion or ignition. Also, you should probably check compression before going any farther in your troubleshooting because if you lack compression, your attempts to pin the problem to carbs or ignition will be frustrating... and last, you don't have point on that bike.

I'll check tonight the compression and see if I go further in my research.

Done the compression test:
#1: 128
#2: 130
#3: 131
#4: 130
It was done with a rented compression gauge so I'm glad with the result. May seem low but not sure 100% of the accuracy of the gauge.
I will check to swap #1 and #4 wire tonight.

HI,
Swap wire on #1 and #4 and didn't change anything. #1 still take longer to get in temperature.
I'm checking the valve tonight and will atttack carbs probably tomorow.
The inside of my tank seem to have a surface rust in it. My problem is probably starting there.
