Slippery snot in oil (additives) and new clutch

I just repacked my clutch with new springs, fiber and steel plates. I ran it in with fresh oil for 250 Kilometers. Now I dumped the oil and filter and replaced them. However, instead of the straight plain dyno juice I used Castrol GTX 10W40 which has some anti wear additives. When I did this on my old worn clutch I got a lot of slippage. But this time with the all new clutch guts the additives don't seem to be affecting the clutch. I ran all day in the city and on the highway, and I was making her howl. So this has been my experience so far: Worn clutch, anti wear additives in oil make it slip a lot more. All new clutch guts, no effect.

I have read about that before. An artical from a clutch manufaturer said that if your clutch slips with these oils then you probably have an issue with your clutch not the oil u use.
