too much oil? HELP!!! was created by toad warrior
i just bought a 77 kz 1000. it was running great, then i changed the oil. it drove home fine, but when i started it this morning it ran awful. i cant even ride it right now. i checked the oil window before i started it, and it looked to be on the high side (right at the top mark. i pulled the plugs, and they were fouled so i drained a bit, and put new plugs in. its still running poorly but the new plugs look fine..

ANYONE?!?!?!

I would figure by overfilling it you would get way too much oil on the cyl walls, maybe the rings were not able to seal it off??

You should take a look in your airbox also. If you overfilled it with oil and ran it for awhile your airfilter could be clogged with oil.
