damn!! since the weather sucks I decided to do some work on the LTD 1000 figured I would check the valves, the PO put on a chrome valve cover and acorn nuts, well when installing the valve cover I dropped one of the nuts and it went into the OPEN PLUG HOLE!!!! OHH S!#@$T.
Well after some deep thinking and a beer or two, I broke out a small magnet and some string and another hour I fished it out WHEW, I was not wanting to pull the head.
RULE 1 put plugs back prior to messing with small partsB)
