Changing oil 79 kz650

I just bought this bike and I would like to change the oil and filter how do i do this? and how much do I put in after I change the filter and drain the oil. Thanks

The only amendment I would make to the instructions is "replace the filter every oil change", not every other as stated, it's just a good practice.
Ride safe.
78 650-C2, Stock engine, Jardine 4-2 Exh., 17-38 sprockets, dyna ignition and coils, coil wiring mod, carb mod.

Well for me who changes oil like every 3 or 4 months to fix something or just for the sake of preventing wear on my bikeI do my filter every now and then. But I have to say the Milkman did deliver a good point!
