there are so many miracle epoxys out there anymore its hard telling what really works.id say the most important thing is to find something gas/oil resistant that can take heating/cooling cycles and sticks to aluminum;)

Well, I was impressed,,, but then I'm easy,,
If it's anything at all like the video, seems you could do a lot of repairs with it. Best part I could see was how it pooled and didn't drip into the hole.


78 650-C2, Stock engine, Jardine 4-2 Exh., 17-38 sprockets, dyna ignition and coils, coil wiring mod, carb mod.

oh wooooooooow!i just looked at the video,i thought it was gonna be some sort of epoxy!im gonna look into that myself !

This product has been around for at least 20 years, (possibly under other brand names)
I have used it successfully to repair cracks in sheet aluminum on a few airplanes I worked on.
The basic theory is that the special coating on the rod (flux) forms a pool over the molten metal and prevents oxygen from corrupting the weld.
It does work.
User skill is important. Practice on something unimportant.

saw something like that years ago, the guys were repairing irrigation pipe, thin alum, work like a dream, they did say it took them a few trys to get the heat right
