Can you add a 6th Gear to a KZ250? was created by Scott_Rocket
Let me say, my 83 KZ250 LTD is an amazing machine...if I only had one more gear, she'd fly. Has anyone out there ever heard of installing a 6th Gear in such a small engine? Let me know!!

No but I put a diffrent sprocket on the rear. You can get them custom cut for that bike for about $35 out of aluminum. I will track down where I bought mine from and give you the link.

These lil bikes are freakin awesome, but they really need deeper gears, I think I put a 34T on it if I remember right.

Oh and if you drill the secondary main jet out .005 she will really suprize you.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Only problem, mine is a belt drive. Thanks for the jet tip though.
