'77-'78 KZ1000 to '76 900 exhaust fit?

A Jardine 4 into 2 exhaust made for a '77-'78 KZ 1000 should fit a 1976 KZ 900 LTD, shouldn't it?

it should,you might need to make some small brackets to bolt to rear mounts since 77-78 uses differant rear peg mounts;)

It SHOULD,as the only difference in the heads,between the 900 and the 1000,is the size(diameter) of the exhaust studs,and the metal surrounding the studs.The 1000 had the bigger studs(8mm dia. and the 900 has 6mm dia,I believe)
You should be good to go.
I'm currently running a 900 head with a Kerker that was originally made for a 1000 and I've had absolutely no problems with it...good luck,Bud.
