can i just take out my starter, i want to reduce wait and use the area to put electrical things. What do i have to do does the whole have to be pluged. 1978 kz 650

There was a thread on this about a week ago. Yes the hole would have to be totatlly sealed, it's a direct opening to the oil. If done right, I can see where it could be used to store several items.
