I've been looking around online for a 4-1 exhaust for the KZ1100 over the last few days and I've been coming up with very few options. I really like the V&H "Street Megaphone," but that particular pipe seems to be listed for 650, 900, KZ1000 and the GPZ1100. No listing for the KZ1100.

But then I found a MAC brand system that list only three different part numbers that cover literally a whole ton of different KZ bikes from 900 up for a multitude of years. BUT....only the KZ1100A for 1983. Is there something very weird about the 81-82 KZ1100As that causes there to be a shortage of after market exhausts for them or can pipes from another KZ be, made to fit with some persuasion?

if it works on the gpz1100 it will work on yours, however it may need a bracket modification at the end of the hanger.

i'm not sure of the 83-84 gpz motors though.

Dave, I suggest their data may be flawed and that you chat with consumer help at MAC. In North America, the KZ1100A lineage existed for 1981 and 1982. In 1983, the KZ1100L was introduced and the A line no longer sold.
