I need the help of the site and forum. Previous to doing the valve adjustments, the bike started very hard, often the starter would wear down the battery before it took, but a push start after 3 or 4 tries would work perfectly. There was a load engine noise and #3 wasn't firing (cold exhaust pipe), so I check the valves and found #3 intake with zero clearance. After changing the shims under bucket and quadruple checking cam timing, tied it all back up.

The bike now refuses to start. All cylinders between 150-160 psi on a compression test. Took sparks out one at a time, put against cylinder head and see blue spark at correct time (didn't reverse coil tigger wires). Carbs were recently fully cleaned and tested by wiredgeorge. I am at a complete loss --- gotta be something simple, but I have NO idea.

(1980 KZ440-A1 sold project bike)
(1982 KZ750-N1 still stolen)
1982 KZ750-N1, my only now

If you have spark at the right time,it has to be fuel.
Smell the spark plugs,do they smell like gas? They should.A spider made a nest once in my carb vent hose,
that is all it took to make the bike not start.
