Will an 80-83 Kz750 E&H Cylinder Block fit on my 77 or 79 Kz650 motor. This guy say's he'll sell me these for $25.00. They are listed at $15.00 but he now wants $25.00 since he has not relisted them.

Well, I found this on another post. I am buying them for $20.00. Good deal?

1980 KZ750 four is the year you want to swap on an early 650 (prior to 81-81). You can use the sleeves out of any of them, but as far as I have been able to determine, only the 1980 cylinder block has provision for the roller cam chain of the early 650's.
So the one on eBay is the one you want.

As far as I have been able to determine, the 80 KZ750 block is the only one that has provision for the roller cam chain.
Here is a pic of a 80 KZ750E block (dirty one on the right) and a 83 GPz750 block (freshly honed block on the left) that I took about 5 minutes ago
I'm not totally certain that the 81 and 82 blocks are different than the 80 though, I don't have an 81 or 82 block to compare, but others have stated that the 81 and 82 are different than the 80.
