The speedo cable was an issue the needle no longer drops, but the vibration was mainly coming from the clutch cable twisted under the front of the tank.
The carbs are original from the KZ 650 the shop said they had been rejetted at some time in the past probably when the KZ 750 or VH exhaust wasinstalled. They went through them and cleand them out but said my money would be better spent on a new set of carbs. They dont have any carbs for the GPZ so I am looking (any ideas).
As for the cost it started out with a quote for a KZ 750 installed for $500 it ended up costing me $675 for the GPZ he said $75 was for cleaning the carbs and $50 for the mods to mount the oil cooler and carbs to the new head. So I say around $550 without all the BS
