Is there a way I can get the mufflers off my 83 1100 without damaging the rest of the exhaust? Or are they welded on to the pipe? I am hoping to take them off behind the H pipe, but I don't want to ruin the exhaust. If not not, I will just to go the kz cemetery part of the junk yard and buy a set of stock exhaust and cut the muffllers off. I like the idea of straight pipe coming off of each side, but I don't want to damage the stockers because they are still in such good shape.

Thanks-Brandon

Nevermind. Wrote this question before really looking at the exhaust. It just clamps on, thus making it easy to remove to pull the rear tire off. Am just running two straight pipes for now. I will try to get some video of it and put it on line this week.
