new muffler was created by Booncha57
i replaced my old mac muffler with a new one today and when i was trying to get the old one off i put a very small dent in the head pipe at the end where the muffler bolts up (the collector?) and now i have a small exhaust leak. im not sure how to fix this. i cant really get anything in there to push the dent out. i cant think of anything to stuff in there and i dont know if i can use rtv in there. what do you think?

You know, I bet RTV would hold up, perhaps not forever but I bet you'd be surprised. Other that that I'd try some furnace cement. Heating guys use it to seal up joints in flues.

not sure where the dent is, but you can get a tail pipe expander at parts stores, you might be able to slide it up to where the dent is, put a bit of heat on the spot and expand it out to remove the dent
