kz650 valve size?
17 Apr 2007 19:38
Does anyone know the intake and exaust valve size on a stock 650 head?
I have seen ebay auctions claiming that a 650, 750 and gpz valve were all the same...I thought the gpz750 and 750 valves were indeed larger.
I have bent a few valves in my 650 and while searching for spares ebay has left me confused.
Are the intake and exaust valves the same size in a stock head? Any information is great, I intend on keeping the stock sized valves and the stock 650 head for the time being.
Thanks!!

the 650 and 750 valves are different
650 Inlet 33 Exhaust 28
750 Inlet 34 Exhaust 30
oh and according to APE if you want bigger valves in your 650, the stock seats can be bored out to take 1mm bigger valves. so 750 intake valves work with a 650 modified seat, and you can make the 30mm 750 exhaust valves into 29s to use them on a modified 650 exhaust seat
