Anyone know if an engine guard for kz400 will fit a 440?
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Could be possible
1979 KZ SR650, stock candy persimmon red and crossover pipes
1981 KZ 1000LTD with non stock and more comfortable handle bars and 4 into one V&H

The engines will swap between the two and since the engine guards usually mount at the engine mounts and somewhere on the downtubes of the frame I'm gonna say yes they will work.

Well thats good cause I picked these up cheap so I am willing to try.

I may have to fab some brackets or modify them to fit, but they are the coolest thing I have ssen for old KZ.

On a side note I am planning to paint my gas tank, side pannels, and the saddle bags. I was thinking it would be cool to narrow down my color choises to 5 or 6 paint codes and have a poll on this site, I would use the most popular choice. I am trying to find some way of dispalying the paint choices ( pictures of cars, bikes, etc. in that color).

I am willing to put my bike in your hands... :unsure:
