crankcase breather

Is it mandatory to run a crankcase breather on my KZ? im not running a surge tank, i have pod filters. after my ride yesterday noticed alot of oil, saturated the back of the bike.

Yep, ya gotta do something with it. Some people have a nipple welded to their exhaut pipe and route the breather hose to that, I've got a setup to route mine to the emmisions fittings on my head, some just run a hose up under the seat. If I were going to do that, I'd stuff half of a Chore Girl(tm) halfway down the hose to give the oil vapor something to precipitate on.

I put a breather filter on mine. Z1 probably has it and JCWhitney has one that mounts on the frame w/tubing to the breather.
'82 KZ750 CSR, M1 twin. Mac 2-1 exhaust, K&N pods, 17tooth drive sprocket, Mikuni BS-34 carbs w/#47.5 pilot jet and #125 main jet, Canadian XS650 needlejetjet needle, Wired George's coil mod.

ive never heard of a chore girl, what are you talking about? i have a k&n filter on there, just seems like 2 much oil. its never leaked out the filter on my before
