differences 4cyl 650 to 4cyl 750
08 Apr 2007 11:18
what are the differences from a 650 to 750 4cyl? is it just the bore size or is there a stroke difference? i know the rods are the same.

Early 650s used a bicycle style cam chain, but the later models used the hyvo chain like the 750s. The major differences were a smaller bore and slightly smaller valves. A 750 top end will bolt onto a later model 650 bottom easily, and will bolt onto an early model 650, but you have to keep the cam chain sprockets and idler sprocket from the 650.
