compression tester

i just won a compression tester off ebay for .99 plus
12.50 shipping. its a made in china tester. what do you think? worth it?

At that price, it pretty much only needs to work once to be worth it.
Do you have any way of validating the reading, like at least once? I mean like borrow a buddy's higher-quality one, see if it and your show the same reading...

Like quality tools, especially torque wrenches and compression gauges. On these tools, an accurate
reading is important. Just my 2 cents worth...
