Will it work on my KZ1100??
I've been looking into adding one since it gets so hot down here. What do you think??

Thanks Sandy. There are times, with this bike, that I don't know enough to know what I don't know
ya know :S
It's not as complicated as my Magna but little things seem to upset it more than the Magna. The Magna is a bit more forgiving.
But I'm learning

Not sure what sending unit you are talking about? If you think it will fit my 76 kz900, I might be interested.

Just so Everyone knows...I DID U2U Don,telling Him that I know of Someone else who might want it(Tony) but Tony has been pretty busy, and doesn't get on here much.
Don hasn't gotten back to Me yet.
And Stonecold...I checked on the Kawasaki cross-ref,and the 1100 is NOT listed as being a match for the sending unit(one-piece) so I can only assume that the fittings for the cooler won't work for Ya,Bud.
If You find out different though, and Don still has it,then as far as I'm concerned,You have the first,"Dibs" on it.
I just now talked to Tony(He's on His way here...We're going to a Tom Cochrane concert tonight) and YA...He's interested.

The sending unit (I think it's called that) is the part that the fits on the motor behind the cylinders down on the block. And yes the fittings will fit the 76 900. They will fit the 73-78 900 and 1000's.

Tony,
You could always just swap in the oil pan and cooler from any year ('81~'84) GPz1100.
The oil pan is a direct fit (uses the exact same gasket as your bike), and you'd only need to fab a bracket to mount the cooler itself to the frame.
It'll cool the engine nicely, and will look like it came original on your bike too.
